Who Would Play You In a Movie?

My family has this ongoing game of trying to decide who would play particular family members if there was a movie about our life. Which, of course there will be some day.  Josh has always been a little tricky to cast. Well, I’m very excited because I think I’ve found the guy!  John Kasinski! Check this out.

I think I’m going to make this a regular feature on my blog. I’ll just pick a friend or relative now and then and match them with a celebrity.  Ya know, for when Hollywood comes a’ calling.

    1. I really really liked ‘Away We Go’! Even more than ‘500 Days of Summer.’ Who would play me? I know who my vain self would want to play me: Rachel McAdams, or Jennifer Garner…but I can’t be relied on for casting myself accurately.

  1. Oh My God! You finally did it!! You have to do dad next. Of course I’m thinking Sean Connery or Harrison Ford right?

  2. okay… i think Rachel McAdams & Jennifer Garner are too cutesy for you…. you need someone who’s more edgey –who can get away w/the bohemian thing, & curse a lot. 😉 i think Drew Barrymore could play your personality well…. though i’ve still got to think of someone for your looks…

  3. Okay, Rules people! Rules. You have to choose someone who is alive and with in 10 years of your actual age. So, nice try Stovall, but keep thinking.

Kari, I agree that both those girls I want for me are too cutesy. It’s just who I *wish* would play me. Plus, Jennifer Garner is already cast as someone else in my life, who I’ll post another time. I love the idea of Drew, but could she look like me? Ugh, this is going to be a life project. Oh, and you know who you’ll be, right? Sorry. But it has to be that way.

  4. Oh, and I told you already that homecoming or prom pic from back in the day makes me think of Natalie Portman. That could be your actress.
